COACHING EXPERIENCE:
I am beginning my 18th year of coaching/teaching. In 2002-2003, I served as a graduate assistant at Wayland Baptist University where we made it to the "Elite 8" in the National Tourney. From 2003-2007, I served as an assistant coach at Rockwall High School. In my tenure there, we went to the State Tournament in 2006 and went again in 2007. We won the 5A State title going 40-0. From 2007-2010, I was the Head Coach at Breckenridge High School where we made the playoffs in consecutive years after not making the playoffs in 7 seasons prior. From 2010-2014, I served as the Head Coach at Lubbock High School where we set several school records for wins. The past 3 years I have been the Head Coach at Hallsville where we have made the playoffs in 2 of 3 seasons and won 6 games in 3 years. We feel like we have done well here at Centennial posting 3 consecutive playoff appearances and 20 wins seasons. In addition have been to the Regional Quarterfinals in back to back years and look forward to a bright future.
AWARDS/RECOGNITIONS/HOBBIES:
Being part of 5A State Championship team in 2007 and going 40-0. I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 boys, anything sports related, and the Texas Rangers.
PARENTS AND PLAYERS:
We are excited to be a part of the Titan family. We believe that any successful program is a process and you only get to where you are going through hard work and dedication. My family and I look forward to being here and being a part of this community. We have a solid foundation of veteran players and younger players that will make this a fun process. One of my favorite quotes pertaining to building a PROGRAM IS - "This is who we are, this is what we do, and this is the way we do it ... Surrender your individuality." We look forward to continue to build on the success we have established for many years to come.
